In the Warsaw University Library collection of incunabula are also found rare liturgical prints. To these belong two Latin confession missals which were used for services.

Missale Sverinense is a part of a missal printed on parchment for the Schwerin dioecese in Mecklenburg. Initials and text are in rubrics. This work was published in Michaelits publishing house in Rostok. Our copy contains only four pages found in the binding of other early imprint. On one of these pages is an inscription from 1573 of unknown Johann Kaufrich.

Missale Romanum meaning Roman missal, originates from the Nurnberg printing house of G. Stuchs, specializing in liturgical prints. The print has bicolor tooling (red and black) which was typical for this type of publication. In addition our copy has beautiful color-matching initial, made by an illuminator. This copy was bought in 1951; there are no markings of previous owners.
